Magny replaced an injured Matt Brown and defeated Kelvin Gastelum at Fight Night Monterrey by split decision. The win bumps Magny, who fights out of Denver, up four spots to No. 9 in the welterweight rankings. Gastelum, who turned in a spirited effort in the final two rounds, also sees an increase in his position as he moves up to No. 13.

Saturday’s results affected one other division as flyweights Henry Cejudo and Jussier Formiga swap spots. Cejudo, who beat Formiga by split decision, claims the No. 3 spot and Formiga drops to fifth.

Outside of this weekend’s results, a few notable changes in the pound-for-pound rankings as Jon Jones leaps TJ Dillashaw for the fourth spot and Fabricio Werdum overtakes Robbie Lawler for No. 6.
