UFC Brings Fight Night Back To Brisbane

Brisbane, Australia – UFC® today announced that it will return to Brisbane, Australia on March 20, 2016 (March 19, 2016 in North America) at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. This marks the second UFC event in Brisbane and ninth event in Australia, which reaffirms UFC’s commitment to the Australian market as a key region.

“Australia has been an incredible market for the UFC and I'm excited to follow up our success at UFC 193 with a return to Brisbane in March,” UFC President Dana White said. “Brisbane was the scene of one of the greatest heavyweight bouts of all time – the first fight between Mark Hunt and ‘Bigfoot’ Silva. I look forward to our return by bringing another great card to Brisbane in March!"

UFC Fight Night Brisbane will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1 in the United States, Fox Sports Australia in Australia and SKY TV in New Zealand.

The UFC is the fastest growing sports organization in the world and is viewed as the pinnacle of mixed martial arts by both athletes and fans. Previous events in the region have taken place in Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney, attracting thousands of fans and millions of televison viewers.
