Tracey Bleczinski Hired as Head of Consumer Products

ULTIMATE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP HIRES TRACEY BLECZINSKI AS HEAD OF CONSUMER PRODUCTS

Bleczinski, Formerly VP of Consumer Products for NFL, Brings More Than 14 Years of Experience in Global Licensing, Merchandise, and Brand Marketing

Las Vegas, Nev. – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Tracey Bleczinski, who will join the organization as the Senior Vice President of Consumer Products.

Bleczinski brings more than 14 years of experience and comes to the UFC from the National Football League (NFL) where she served as Vice President of Consumer Products. She developed the long-term strategic plan for the NFL’s apparel business which covered on-the-field-uniforms, apparel and fan gear. She has been responsible for many of the recent women’s apparel initiatives from NFL licensees and has managed the NFL’s partnerships with Nike, New Era, Under Armour, VF and more. Additionally, she has launched programs such as the NFL RushZone, Take a Player to School, the NFL Women’s Apparel: Fit for You Campaign, and the first-ever NFL Pop Up Store specifically for female fans.

In her new role, Bleczinski will head UFC’s robust consumer products and apparel division.  A veteran with a proven track record, Bleczinski’s priority will be to develop a long-term global licensing, merchandising, and product strategy to capitalize on UFC’s growing international footprint which now reaches over 145 countries and territories. She will also develop product strategies for the UFC organization throughout the United States, and will coordinate UFC’s global licensing business in conjunction with UFC offices in London, England, Toronto, Canada, Sao Paolo, Brazil and Singapore.

Prior to joining the NFL, Bleczinski gained experience in sports and retail business at the University of Kansas Athletics Department, Champions Sports Apparel and Creative Enterprises. A graduate of Kansas State University, Bleczinski was a full scholarship athlete in basketball. She received her BS in journalism and later her MS in Education/Sports Administration from the University of Kansas.
