Rousey, Zingano Meet in Clash of Unbeatens at UFC 182

Rousey vs. Zingano set for UFC 182 in January...

The biggest fight to be made in women's MMA now has a date and a home, as UFC President Dana White confirmed Wednesday that UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will defend her crown her for the fifth time against number one contender Cat Zingano at UFC 182 in Las Vegas on January 3.

The bout will be the UFC 182 co-main event, with the UFC light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier serving as the headliner.

Rousey (10-0) has ripped through contender after contender at 135 pounds, needing just a combined 82 seconds to defeat Sara McMann and Alexis Davis in her two most recent title defenses. Colorado's Zingano (9-0) is expected to provide an interesting stylistic test for "Rowdy" Ronda though, and with back to back knockouts of Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes, Zingano has plenty of momentum on her side heading into the biggest fight of her career.
