Monday Fight Updates

It's UFC 179 fight week, but before the action kicks off in Rio de Janeiro this Saturday, two new fights were verbally agreed to Monday, and one bout in Sydney got an injury-induced switch.

On that November 8 card emanating from Australia and airing on UFC FIGHT PASS, American knockout artist Walt Harris will make a quick return to the UFC to take on home country favorite Soa Palelei in heavyweight action. Harris replaces the injured Daniel Omielanczuk.

December 13th's event in Phoenix, Arizona will see hometown hero and former Olympic Gold Medalist Henry Cejudo make his UFC debut in a bantamweight matchup against Hawaii's Dustin Kimura.

Finally, it will be a meeting of Brazilian middleweights in Las Vegas on January 31st, as Ildemar Alcantara faces Richardson Moreira on the UFC 183 card.
