Jorgensen Returns to 135 to Face The Anvil

This summer, longtime bantamweight contender Scott Jorgensen will return to 135 pounds after a stint at flyweight, and waiting for him at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego on July 15 will be fellow veteran Manvel "The Anvil" Gamburyan.

Fight Night San Diego, which is headlined by the heavyweight bout between Frank Mir and Todd Duffee, will air live on FOX Sports 1.

A former world title challenger, Jorgensen consistently fought the best at bantamweight before a four-fight stint at 125 pounds in 2013-14. Now ready to move back up and begin his quest for a title once more, he will face former Ultimate Fighter finalist Gamburyan, whose move south to the bantamweight division yielded immediate benefits in the form of a UFC 178 win over Cody Gibson last September.
