Injuries take Perez and Sterling out of December bouts

Bantamweight contender Aljamain Sterling and former TUF Latin America winner Alejandro Perez will have to wait a little longer for their return to the Octagon, as injuries have forced both to withdraw from events in Albany and Las Vegas, respectively.

New York's Sterling was scheduled to face Raphael Assuncao on the December 9 UFC Fight Night card in Albany. Perez's opponent for the TUF 24 Finale event in Las Vegas on December 3 was Rob Font.

UFC officials are currently seeking replacement opponents for Assuncao and Font. Stay tuned to UFC.com for updates on both events.
