Illness Forces Silva Off UFC 198 Card

The homecoming fight of Anderson Silva in Curitiba will not be taking place this weekend, as the former middleweight champion has been forced off Saturday's UFC 198 card due to an illness.

A replacement will not be brought in to fight Silva's opponent, Uriah Hall, and the UFC 198 card will proceed with 12 bouts. Moving to the main card is the welterweight bout between Warlley Alves and Bryan Barberena.
