Biography

TRAINING: Wake up at 9am, have breakfast, relax a little bit, have lunch and go training. It takes about one hour to get to the gym because it is in another city. Then, boxing for one hour, jiu-jitsu for one hour and it ends with a great MMA training session.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I used to watch Pride's DVD and I loved to watch Wanderlei Silva and Minotauro fights. So I started to train Muay Thai, and after that, when I was 14 years old, I met Pedro Silveira (one of my coaches) and he invited me to train at his gym. I’ve been there since.

What ranks and titles have you held? Boxing State Champion (Rio de Janeiro), Owner of Rio FC's belt (MMA - Rio de Janeiro), Muay Thai State Champion, TUF Brazil 2 finalist

Do you have any heroes? My father and my mother

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's a big dream. Every fighter trains to get there, and I'm there.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No

What was your job before you started fighting? I worked at a restaurant and I used to work delivering food.
