Biography

When and why did you start training and fighting?
I started to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2001 because I liked fighting. 

How many bouts do you have? Any titles?
15 fights. I hold the belt in the featherweight division in the biggest event in southern Brazil, the EPF (Extreme Power Fight)

What were the best results of your fights? Have you ever fought a famous fighter?
I consider all fights important , each has their special moment and stays in your memory forever. I have fought against John Lineker today a flyweight fighter in the UFC.

How is your diet during training?
I cut out salt, sugar and red meat. Drinks a lot of water.

What's your favorite tecnique?
Get to the opponent's back and get a RNC. 

What does it mean to you, to fight in the UFC?
A dream come true. With this, I will be able to say to my daughters that if you have a dream, go after and you will be able to accomplish it.

Do you have a hero? Who and why?
God, because he gave his son's life for us. 

What is your educational background?
I did not finish High School.

What did you do before you started fighting?
I worked as a locksmith and delivery man.
