Biography

TRAINING: A typical day of training consists of two training sessions - one striking based and one grappling based. Other days in the week will include conditioning and sparring

Thoughts on opponent, Oluwale Bamgbose? Bamgbose is an unorthodox striker with power in his punches and kicks. I look forward to this challenge.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I've always been a fan of boxing and martial arts. I can remember watching the UFC on Bravo in the UK and I became obsessed. I found a local gym and started training MMA as soon as I turned 16. I've dedicated my whole life to it since I started.

What ranks and titles have you held? I'm a BJJ brown belt under Firas Zahabi, I was a British junior champion in freestyle wrestling and I was the BAMMA British Welterweight Champion in professional MMA.

Do you have any heroes? I don't have any heroes, but I was a big fan of Ricky Hatton.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It's a great opportunity to fight in the UFC and I look forward to representing my country and hometown.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I skipped college to train MMA full-time.
What was your job before you started fighting? I used to work behind a bar at weekends to pay for my training during the week.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? I was a British Amateur champion in Amateur MMA going nine fights undefeated.
