Biography

TRAINING: I train twice a day. First technical training at Team Nogueira's gym and then physical conditioning training at X-Gym. We always follow the week’s training schedule to make sure we cover all areas of a fight.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I usually like to say that "I chose to fight, it was not the fight that chose me". I fight because I love this sport. Everyone that knows my story knows that very well. I have a degree in engineering and was responsible for new developments of a large multinational company.

What ranks and titles have you held? I have always competed in Jiu-Jitsu State Championships where I was regional and state champion.

Do you have any heroes? Rodrigo Minotauro, Rogerio Camões

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? The beginning of a long journey where I will be fighting for a dream.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, I am an engineer.

I was an engineer responsible for new developments of a large multinational company.
