Nik LentzTRAINING: My training for this fight has increased significantly. Wake up 8 am, Run, Leave for academy by 9:30. 5 rounds pads, Short break, Grapple 8+ 5-min rounds, Conditioning right after grappling, Right after conditioning 2 rounds on the pads, Leave Academy. Around 2 pm, Run, Lift weights. Around 6:30, Run, Heavy bag and speed bag workout, ab workout, Sleep by 11.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I don’t remember the exact reason why I wanted to start fighting, but I had my first MMA fight in August of 2005. What ranks and titles have you held? I have held many smaller show belts in weight classes ranging from 155-185. Do you have any heroes? My father What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is something I have wanted to accomplish for a long time and I’m glad it’s about to happen. Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to the University of Minnesota. I am one semester away from graduating in Pre-Med (Biology) What was your job before you started fighting? I ran an online store that sold rare collectables and video games.
