Biography

TRAINING: I start every morning off with strength and conditioning. Late morning grappling or sparring sessions and evening technique and conditioning.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I had wrestling skills like everyone from Iowa. Then I started training jiu-jitsu about six years ago. It was a fun workout and I really liked it. It didn't take long for me to want to compete, so I started competing in tournaments and it just kept going from there.

What ranks and titles have you held? MCC - Midwest Cage Championship Lightweight Champion

Do you have any heroes? God

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I have worked and trained very hard to reach my goal of fighting for the UFC. This is another accomplishment and I am very grateful for the opportunity. This is just one step in the direction I have been working towards, and there's a lot of work left to do. It's an honor and I am excited to get it on.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, associate of arts degree

What was your job before you started fighting? Licensed massage therapist

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Brutaal Genesis Iowa welterweight Champion
