Biography

TRAINING: A typical day of training at Combat Club is challenging and can be frustrating, but we learn how to deal with adversity and it’s the best part of my day.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started MMA in 2010 after the Rampage and Chuck Liddell promo. I fell in love with the sport afterwards. And I do it to help my family.

What ranks and titles have you held? I am the No. 1 welterweight in the south. Titan FC and Victory FC welterweight champion

Do you have any heroes? Bob Marley, Bruce Lee

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means everything to fight in the UFC. Nothing else matters.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No

What was your job before you started fighting? Taco Bell, Marshall, ABC Roofing Company, construction company, tree company, security

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? 5-1 with a 90% finish rate as an amateur, won amateur ISKA welterweight title and was in the first ever sanctioned amateur bout in South Florida
