Biography

TRAINING: My training for this camp has been the same as before with a lot of my camp working on striking, trips to Oklahoma State University to wrestle and incorporating multiple fast twitch muscle exercises on top of my regular schedule.

When and why did you start training for fighting?
I started right after I was finished going to college. I wanted to compete at something outside of wrestling.

What ranks and titles have you held?
I've held number one rankings in college wrestling multiple times in my career.

Do you have any heroes?
Hulk Hogan and my wife.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC?
It means everything to me. It means that a lot of hard work has paid off and I'm in the upper tier in the sport amongst the best fighters in the world.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn?
I went to school at Oklahoma State University and studied education.

What was your job before you started fighting?
I went straight out of college wrestling into training to fight.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition?
4X NCAA DIV 1 Qualifier, 2010 NCAA Runner up, 3X All American, 3X Big 12 Finalist, Winningest HW @OSU
