Biography

TRAINING: I wake up and drink my horchata-flavored protein, put on some mariachi music and brew some Colombian coffee. I train 10:30am-1pm at Alliance MMA. Afterwards, I either do Strength & Conditioning with George Castro or padwork with Eric Del Fierro and Miguel Reyes at Alliance MMA. In the evening, I drill Jiu-Jitsu with Coach Boogey Martinez at 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu.  

When and why did you start training for fighting?
I’ve been training for seven years; I started training to stay out of trouble.

What ranks and titles have you held? Thai Boxing Association of Mexico title

Do you have any heroes? Ramon Dekkers, Tom "Kong" Watson

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s great, a dream come true

What was your job before you started fighting? Carpenter, tortilla factory
