When and why did you start training and fighting?
I began training MMA at 17. I grew up watching Royce Gracie and wrestling was my passion since childhood.
How many bouts do you have? Any titles?
6 fights, 4 wins, 2 losses. Black belt in BJJ, capoeira teacher and practitioner of boxing and wrestling.
What were the best results of your fights? Have you ever fought a famous fighter?
All wins by knockout and submission. Best fight was when I got a KO in 13 seconds in Colorado, USA. I have already fought Cassiano Tytschyo and Chaun Sims
How is your diet during training?
I start dieting 3 months before the fight, monitored by an endocrinologist. Being a personal trainer, quantifies my training. This way I can ensure maximum performance and make weight easily. Balanced diet with all the nutrients: carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and essential fats for the development of a number of hormones.
What's your favorite tecnique?
Today the preferred technique is the one he can put into practice in the Octagon to finish the fight, can be BJJ, muay thai, capoeira. I am a versatile athlete who is able to do this all the time.
What does it mean to you, to fight in the UFC?
Fighting in the UFC is a dream come true. Everything you visualize, you end up winning. I began to visualize myself as a UFC fighter, bought the clothes, gloves, everything of the UFC. I think I drew this to my life because I pursued this.
Do you have a heroes?
Yes, several idols. People who have the same goals as I do : positive thinking and people who give their best in everything they do. Ayrton Senna, Andre Agassi, Randy Couture, Vitor and Wanderlei.
What is your educational background?
Physical Education Teacher
What did you do before you started fighting?
I was a personal trainer, dental offices salesman, security, delivered pamphlet many other things.
