Biography

TRAINING: M-W-F Striking / T-Th-S Grappling

When and why did you start training for fighting? Since I was three years old. I love Boxing and at five years old I fought a boxing exhibition match. I started formal training when I was eight years old.

What ranks and titles have you held? WLC Bantamweight Champion (Local)Warriors League Championship, URCC Flyweight Champion (Universal Reality Combat Championship) - Defended it once

Do you have any heroes? First is my Father. He taught me all the tools in life. Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao since I was three old. In UFC, Jon “Bones” Jones.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I said to myself even when I just started fighting amateur fights when I was 14 years old, that when I’m 18 years old, I want to be a MMA Champion. And when I’m 20 years old I’ll be in the UFC and hopefully at 22, 23 years old I’ll be a UFC Champ. And it’s happened. I won the WLC Belt when I was 18 years old and won the URCC Belt when I was 19. And I am now signed with the UFC at 20 years old, just like “Bones” Jones. And hopefully the UFC belt will come. So since I started MMA, my goal in life was to be in the UFC.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? No. Just a High School graduate.

What was your job before you started fighting? I started fighting Muay Thai at eight years old and I was teaching at the Fitness Gym at 12 years old. When I turned 17 I had my own gym and I was the head coach. But I closed it because it’s really hard to do fighting, head coaching and be a dad at the same time, since I’m a dad now with a six-month-old daughter.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? 10-0 amateur record. Ranks in any martial arts styles: Blue Belt in BJJ under Coach Stephen Kamphuis. Fabricio FIT
