Biography

TRAINING: I have been training 2-3 times per day for this fight. Typically I have my first session around 9am, whether it be boxing, MMA, or strength and conditioning. It’s important for me to get a good rest before my afternoon session, which could be either boxing, or working with my striking coach on technique. Then I have a short break and jump into the evening session of BJJ or wrestling.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I have trained in martial arts from a young age, and it is something I have always been very passionate about. I was a fan of the UFC and MMA and wanted to give it a go.

What ranks and titles have you held? 3rd Dan black belt in Karate, and Purple Belt in BJJ.

Do you have any heroes? Bruce Lee

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? An unimaginable dream.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to Sydney University, and have a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physics and Mathematics.

What was your job before you started fighting? Martial Arts coach

Favorite grappling technique: Rear naked choke

Favorite striking technique: Spinning back kick
