When and why did you start training and fighting?
At age 14, I was influenced by the Gracie family. I used to rent VHS tapes, watch the fights and therefore wanted to start fighting.

How many bouts do you have? Any titles?
7 fights, all titles in BJJ, 3 times world champion, black belt in BJJ, former champion BJJ in the light heavyweight category.

What were the best results of your fights? Have you ever fought a famous fighter?
I have wins in Bellator and Jungle fight and won the BJJ championship.

How is your diet during training?
I seek to maintain a healthy diet, but make no specific diet

What's your favorite tecnique?
Rear Naked Choke.

What does it mean to you, to fight in the UFC?
Everything! It's a dream come true. I started fighting because of this event, when watching the Gracies fight.

Do you have a heroes?
Bernardinho for the patience and determination to want titles like it was his first, Michael Jordan, and Ronaldo for overcoming, for seeking what they wanted and improving in all aspects they could. This is what I seek: to improve in everything

What is your educational background?
I did not complete High School.

What did you do before you started fighting?
I worked at a groceries store to pay for the training and was a bus collector .
