Biography

TRAINING: I am doing physical and MMA training every day except on the weekend. As for Physical training, Andrew Jackson of HALEO is my strength coach and helping me with training.

When and why did you start training for fighting? I wrestled in high school and college, and started to train MMA after I graduated.

What ranks and titles have you held? DEEP 4th Middleweight Champion (current title holder)

Do you have any heroes? Riki Choshu (legendary pro wrestler in Japan)

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a great chance to have more success in my MMA career.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Graduated Yamanashi Gakuin University, B.A in Law.

What was your job before you started fighting? Bouncer

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? 2000  All Japan College Wrestling, Greco-Roman style 3rd. 2001  All Japan College - East,  Greco-Roman style 2nd, Freestyle 3rd. 2002  All Japan College Wrestling, Freestyle 3rd. 2004  Amateur Shooto Champion (91Kg)
