When and why did you start training and fighting?
I began in January of 2010 because it was my goal that I wanted for a long time. I knew I had potential and personal motivation and that made me want to try MMA.

How many bouts do you have? Any titles?
5 professional fights. I have won a championship in BJJ in Bahia, and am a blue belt.

What were the best results of your fights? Have you ever fought a famous fighter?
Best result was a KO at home. The most famous was Vina.

How is your diet during training?
To make weight, I consume food with more fiber, more directed to vegetables and fiber. Reduces carbohydrate and protein (fish), tea and fruits

What's your favorite tecnique?
Striking, that's why I like boxing and muay thai.

What does it mean to you, to fight in the UFC?

Consecration of everything that I have worked for in life, I am like a student who spent his life studying to get into college. Entering the UFC is the university level in the fight game

Do you have a heroes?
Uoganada, Rama Krisna, Anderson Silva. The first two elevate my spirit and the third is a great example of a peaceful fighter who uses his skills at the right time.

What is your educational background?

I have a degree in physical therapy and an expertise in chiropractic, aesthetic, shiatsu, pompagem, acupuncture

What did you do before you started fighting?
I was a physical therapist.
