Francisco RiveraTRAINING: I wake up and do my run. Then I do my strength and conditioning workout. I make sure I'm eating right always, and then I do my Sparring/BJJ and drilling midday. I go home, rest, rehydrate with fluid and food. Then I end the day with my wrestling and boxing and a lot of footage studying. I feel you have to see what your flaws are and correct them, and footage of your opponent is always good to see.
When and why did you start training for fighting? 2003, I started training after college football. What ranks and titles have you held? None Do you have any heroes? Best friend Bryan "Jop Jop" Joplin, MMA fighter (passed away) What is your favorite technique? Stand and bang What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a dream come true. To be part of this is one thing but to actually fight for them is crazy. When I started fighting I didn't even think I would get close. And after every fight, fans would say ‘man, can't wait to see you in the UFC.’ I love the sport and the fans, and God blessed me, so now I'm taking it in and working hard to be at the top.
