Biography
TRAINING: For this fight I've been training at Werdum Combat Team (my gym in Venice) and Kings MMA (Master Rafael Cordeiro's gym). Mon, Wed, Fri: 10am - 11am BJJ with Joao Assis. 11am - 2pm Muay Thai and MMA with Master Rafael Cordeiro. 7pm-8pm strength and conditioning with Jarrod Bunch. Tues, Thurs: 9am -10am shiatsu with Cesar Augusto. 3pm - 4:30pm wrestling with Kenny Johnson. 7pm - 8pm strength and conditioning Jarrod Bunch
When and why did you start training for fighting? When? I started when I was 20. Why? All I can say is it involved a woman.
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Jiu Jitsu World Champion (blue belt), Jiu Jitsu European Champion, Jiu Jitsu Pan-American Champion (three times)
Specific accomplishments in pro competition? Jiu Jitsu World Champion (black belt, two times), 2007 ADCC World Champion
Ranks in martial arts styles? Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Brown Belt in Judo.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? I’m excited to fight in the Octagon. I’ll show my best performance and prove that I am also one of the best HW in the world.

What was your job before you started fighting? BJJ teacher
