When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training for fighting about two years ago. I started training right after my first professional loss because I didn’t want it to happen again. What ranks and titles have you held? One-time competitive beer pong champion. Do you have any heroes? None What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a great opportunity. The UFC is the largest and best promotion in the world. I’m looking forward to fighting some of the best guys in the world. Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I graduated from Indiana University with a general studies degree. What was your job before you started fighting? I didn’t have a job prior to fighting. I was a full time student. Specific accomplishments in pro competition? Compiled a professional record of 13-0 prior to joining a gym and training MMA. Favorite grappling technique: The takedown Favorite Striking technique: Gorilla strikes
