Biography
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started in 1999 with Fabiano Iha and a bunch of friends. I loved the competition and wanted to test myself by fighting. After all, how much do you really know yourself if you’ve never been in a fight?
What ranks and titles have you held? WEC Middleweight North American Champion. Grapplers Quest Champion, Best of the West grappling division.
Do you have any heroes? My Parents
What is your favorite technique? I love submissions and sweeps. I am also good at Muay Thai clinches and knees.
What does it mean for you to fight in the WEC? WEC is a great organization. I have given up a lot to take this fight, and fighting is my top priority.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I earned my BA in Business from Cal State Fullerton
What was your job before you started fighting? Lots of odd jobs.
